We are in the year twothousendandseven... the whole town of Hamburg is bored and caught
in monotony. The whole of Hamburg? No, there is a small hut of a peat cutter in
Duvenstedt, and there lives an Illustrator, who tries to be resistant against the treadmill of
daily grind. His name is Björn Oliver martin Bettlewski, he is born at the 1st of october 1972
in Holzminden (Lower Saxony).

After School and a completed apprentinceship as a car painter, he changed his mind and
decided to do comunity service and to complete his school-leaving-certificate. He studied
Illustration and started a new direction in life.

For his exam he produced a book with Mini’s, about Mini’s and stories attached to Mini’s.
Mini’s were and are his greatest hobby.
For this book he collected a lot of stories from mini-drivers and their experiences. He printed
the stories and illustrated the whole book. The title of the book is „Mini Parking Only“.

It is only natural that there are a lot of projects with and about minis are ongoing. He
produces every year a mini-calendar, and sometimes also a mini-comic. But he is of course
also able to do more and other things: visualization of ideas, Comics, Paintings,
Marketing-Illustrations, Newspaper-Illustrations, Storyboards, Caricatures, and Layouts.

Next to that, he loves everything from/about the british and celtic Islands.
